Where can I rent AV equipment in Marrakech?

How much does AV rental cost in Marrakech?
There is no standard day rate, because equipment is rarely the largest part of the bill. How early should AV be booked for an event in Marrakech?
For conferences, congresses and exhibitions, three to six months ahead is recommended, and earlier during Marrakech's peak congress seasons. Short lead times usually mean sub-renting equipment at market rates and competing for crew, which raises the price and narrows the options.
Is an LED screen better than a projector?
LED is better whenever there is daylight, strong stage lighting or a long room, because it holds brightness and contrast where projection washes out. Projection remains the cheaper option in a controlled, darkened room with a short throw. LED also allows non-rectangular shapes and removes the beam path, so presenters cast no shadow. How many microphones does a conference need?
Count the simultaneous open positions rather than the number of speakers: lectern, each panel seat, moderator, and audience roving microphones. Then add spares. Do AV companies include backup equipment?
Not automatically. Backup is real equipment that has to be transported, prepared and paid for, so it should appear as visible line items on the quote. Asimetrica specifies spare microphones, redundant playback and duplicated signal paths as standard. If a quote does not show backup, assume it is not on the truck.
Does Asimetrica work with agencies, PCOs and DMCs?

Should I use a local Moroccan AV supplier or bring one from abroad?
A local supplier that already meets international working standards is usually the better option.
